Something Sweet : Delicious Delights


Now to the important part! Last week I made some amazing foods for him and I just wanted to share these recopies with you! Try them your “he” or “she” will love them!
Salmon BLT

Yield: 4 servings
Recipe: Salmon BLT

Ingredients
  • 4 slices thick cut bacon
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill leaves
  • 8 (1/2-inch thick) slices multigrain bread
  • 6 ounces smoked salmon
  • 1 cup arugula, divided
  • 2 large or 3 medium tomatoes, sliced
Directions
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, and fresh dill. Spread the lemon mayonnaise over 1 side of each slice of bread. Arrange the smoked salmon on 4 slices of the bread. Break the bacon in half and put on top of the smoked salmon. Top the bacon with 1/2 cup of arugula and arrange 2 to 3 tomato slices on top of the arugula. Cover with remaining slices of bread, lemon mayonnaise side down.

Arrange the sandwiches on a platter and serve.

Rosemary Potatoes and Tomato Cheese Sauce!
Erin Original Recipe!
Utensils Needed:

Stirring Spoon, Knife for slicing Potatoes, Fork, Table and Teaspoon Spoon, 2 baking sheets, Sauce Pan, Aluminum Foil and a small mixing bowl
Ingredients:
·         2 tbsp Mayo
·         4 tbsp Olive Oil
·         2 tbsp Butter
·         1 tsp Thyme
·         1 tsp Rosemary Leaves
·         2 tbsp Minced Garlic in Water
·         6-8 Red Potatoes
·         1 ½ tbsp Salsa Con Queso Medium Yellow
·         3 tbsp Prego Traditional Tomato Sauce

Directions:
Combine 1 -6 ingredients in Sauce Pan over medium heat till fully melted.

Cut Red Potatoes into slices and put slices into sauce. Let simmer for 3 min. then turn over and repeat. Place slices onto aluminum foil covered backing sheets. Place over on 350 degrees and let the potatoes bake for 5-7 min. then turn over and repeat.






Do not spray the pan with cooking spray or dump remainder of sauce over potato slices.
Sauces Directions:
Mix 3 parts tomato sauce with 1 ½ parts Queso and microwave for 1 min. or cook over stove on medium heat and stir together.


Place potato slices onto plate and pour sauce sparingly over potatoes. Add a little salt for flavor if you so wish! Enjoy!

Easy as Pie!
Buy whatever cake batter you want to make! Get flat bottom ice cream cones of any size! Make the batter as directed on the box and pour batter into the cones approximately 1 centimeter from the top edge. Then bake as the box directs you to make regular cup cakes! Decorate with Icing and whatever else makes you happy! Serve!
